First international flight in Addu

It was ‘a dream come true’ for the people of Addu when the first international flight arrived in Gan airport early this afternoon. Seventy one tourists travelling from Milan to Addu’s newly opened resort island of Herathere received a heart-warming welcome from the locals at Gan International Airport. The landing of the Blue Panorama flight in Addu marked the inauguration of Gan airport as the country’s second international airport.
